Creating a Landscape Feature Out of Your Pond

When I first bought my home, I was unsure about the man-made pond in the backyard. The water was green and there was no wildlife to be seen. I decided to work with the water feature instead of spending money on fill materials to get rid of the pond. I added a water fountain to the space first that featured a submersible pump and I later added fish. After installing a filtration system and an aeration device, my pond became the central landscaping feature on my property. I made a lot of mistakes as I completed the installations. I had to learn about the biological filtration and I had to figure out how to control algae with shade plants. I want you to have an easier time than I did creating a water feature, so read my blog to find out what you need to do.

Own A Business? Hire A Janitorial Service To Help You

If you own your own business, it is important that you keep it clean. The last thing you want is for customers to walk in and see dirt as this would put a bad first impression on you. One way to ensure everything stays clean is to hire a janitorial service. Below is information on what they can do for you.

What Services They Provide

There are many services janitorial services can provide for you including:

Empty Trash Cans

They can empty trash cans and then take them out. This includes trash cans by each employee's desk, in bathrooms, and in break rooms. This is important as if food sits too long in a trash can it will spoil and result in bad smells. You also may have trash that has personal information on it that you do not want anyone to see.

General Cleaning

This service also offers general cleaning, such as cleaning offices, cleaning meeting and conference rooms, and more. They can clean the restrooms for you. This is very important because of COVID. The restroom is one room that can have a lot of germs. The cleaning company will use cleaners that kill bacteria and germs on surfaces. They will also add supplies that are needed, such as toilet paper, hand towels, and more.

Clean Flooring

The janitorial service can also clean flooring for you. If you have carpeting, ask the service if they can clean the carpets for you if this has not been done in some time. Vacuuming floors is another service offered.

Disinfect

The janitorial service can disinfect your entire office for you, especially for things employees commonly touch. This includes light switches, handrails, and countertops. Tell the service you want a disinfectant used so you can keep your environment safe for you and your employees.

Dust

The service will also dust for you, such as dust desks, tables in meeting or conference rooms, and chairs. This is important as you may have employees that have allergies and dust can make their allergies much worse. You can tell the service what you want them to dust. For example, there may be desks that have personal information on them that you would not want them to dust for you.

Talk with a janitorial service in your area to learn much more about what they can provide for you. Many services can work during the evening if you do not want them to disrupt your business.

For more information on janitorial services, contact a company near you.
